Envy qualify for IEM Chicago

Envy have qualified for IEM Chicago after topping the North America closed qualifier with a quick 2-0 victory over New Identity in the grand final.
The North American closed qualifier was played in a single elimination bracket, with Complexity and Envy being the most prominent teams of the eight-team tournament.
Both of the aforementioned teams ended up on the same side of the bracket and thus met in the semi-finals, with Noah "Nifty" Francis's side coming out victorious and earning a place in the grand final.

There, they met New Identity, who had previously defeated Lazarus and Riot Squad on their side of the bracket. With a quick 2-0 victory on Mirage and Inferno, Envy came out on top of the North American closed qualifier, securing the seventh spot at the $250,000 tournament.
The GG.BET Chicago Invitational, which is currently halfway through the group stage, will determine the last team participating in IEM Chicago, whose team list looks as follows:

The event will run from July 18-21, with the playoffs set to take place at the United Center on the last two days of the tournament.
